Cyber Breakfast

Last week BUNDA‘s Head of Underwriting Andrius Barauskas participated in the Cyber Breakfast event hosted by Tietoevery and Microsoft Lietuva.

Cyber security professionals from Infopulse and Microsoft shared their insights about the cyber risks and threats in the region. They all point out that Cybercrime has become a big industry and cyber risks are on the rise with large-scale implications. Unfortunately, most Organizations are not prepared to combat Cyber-attacks.

All speakers of the event agree that Cyber security awareness involves being mindful of cybersecurity in day-to-day situations and the most surprising component of Cybersecurity is people. This is why Andrius Barauskas in his presentation about Cyber insurance highlights that Employees are a key vulnerability for companies. Cyber security is a never-ending race, so in order to prevent Cyber-attacks, organizations must employ not only technical and operational tools, but also provide cyber security awareness for their employees.
