Our CEO Kristina Penkaitienė celebrates 20 years in the insurance business this month. She first worked as a placing broker for corporate business for 14 years and further stepped into underwriters’ shoes as BUNDA’s CEO.
As she says, working in insurance allows to analyze and get to know different businesses, adopt international experience and meet numbers of people. The insurance business is amazing as it keeps developing: new risks appear & new products are created. This is why you never get bored with insurance and all that experience enriches.
However, when you take time to look more closely, you begin to see key events that really made the difference. The hiring of people who turned out to be key leaders, finding partners who understood our value proposition and helped us take it to market, and landing clients who understood bigger is not necessarily better.
An organization is only as good as the people they hire, especially in a business of our nature. We’ve been fortunate in that regard. Credit for our success and longevity boils down to the amazing, intelligent, and hardworking team members I have been lucky enough to welcome on board.

Many businesses run the risk of creating pollution during normal daily operations. Most of them buy General Liability insurance, however, not all policies include Pollution insurance coverage. Businesses have a responsibility to ensure that their activities are carried out in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner, but shouldn’t forget to obtain Pollution liability insurance.

School time again! Kids probably feel excited and maybe a little sad that summer is over. We continue a new school year tradition and treat our employees’ kids with a little surprise gift.
A simple yet distinctive red color sustainable backpack is a practical but high-style gift for kids during sports or leisure activities. Colorful organic lollipops called “Sky magic pops” remind us that we should never stop dreaming or stop the ambition to achieve our dreams, even if they seem too difficult.
Thank you Odeta Plakiene and Dovanu meistrai, MB for helping to realize this gift idea.
With this small gesture, we wanted to say thank you to our people and their families as well as to celebrate a new school year.
At BUNDA we all together cultivate a family-oriented business culture that allows our people to feel that they are important and appreciated.
